US orders are shipped from within the US, and EU orders are shipped from an EU-based warehouse to avoid import duties and additional fees. For all other countries, we ship from the closest warehouse (EU or US). Please check your local import and VAT regulations before ordering, as we do not refund orders that are refused due to unpaid customs or import fees. To be eligible for a refund, the order must be received and returned using a return label provided by us.
Payment
Dojo Dolls accepts payment with VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, PayPal. The payment will not be deducted from your account until the item is dispatched.
Price errors and sold out/discontinued items are subject to reservation.
Delivery
Dojo Dolls strives to dispatch orders made before 5 pm the same day; orders placed after this will be dispatched the following weekday. We ship internationally, and shipping is free.
Orders are delivered to the address specified at checkout and shipped with DHL. If there is no room at the selected pick-up point, the package may be redirected to the nearest available location, and you will be notified. If any issues arise, please contact customer service.
Deliveries within the U.S. typically arrive within 5 business days, while international orders may take up to 10 business days. Special delivery conditions may apply to certain items, which will be stated before purchase.
U.S. tax is included in the price. If you are ordering from outside the U.S., please check your country's import duties and VAT regulations, as additional charges may apply.
Complaints
We offer a 6-month warranty in accordance with the Purchase Act. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Depending on the situation, you may be eligible for a repair, replacement, refund, or price reduction.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper handling, misuse, or general wear and tear. If you discover a defect, you must notify us within a reasonable timeframe after noticing the issue.
Dojo Dolls will cover return costs to a reasonable extent for valid warranty claims.
Right of cancellation
A 30-day return policy applies to items purchased in our webshop. The return period starts from the day:
- You receive the order.
- You receive the last item in your physical possession when multiple items in an order are delivered separately or in multiple shipments.
- You receive the last batch or part when an order consists of several batches or parts.
- You receive the first item in cases of regular delivery of goods over a set period.
- Refusing to accept the package does not qualify for a refund. Customers must receive the package and return it using a provided return label to be eligible for a refund.
The cancellation must be notified to us no later than 30 days after receiving your order, and you must return the item within 30 days from the cancellation notice. Notice must be given by email to info@dojodolls.com, clearly stating that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. We'll give a full refund minus the shipping cost. Please note, this guarantee is effective for 30 days after receipt.
You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the item without providing clear notice.
Items Exempt from the Right of Cancellation
The following types of goods are not eligible for return:
- Goods made to the consumer's specifications or customized with a personal touch.
- Goods where the seal has been broken.
- Services that have already been performed with the consumer’s prior explicit consent, acknowledging that the right of withdrawal is lost once the service is fully delivered.
- Agreements entered into at a public auction.
Return Process
We cover the return shipping costs for valid returns. Once your return request is approved, you will receive a return label to drop off the package at a designated shipping location.
Condition of the Product When Returned
You are only liable for any potential decrease in the value of the product due to handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, properties, and function of the product. In other words, you may test the item as if you tested it in a physical store.
If the item has been tested beyond the above description, it is considered used. Which means that if you regret the purchase, you only get part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item at the time of receipt - of the return. To receive the full purchase amount back, you must therefore test the item without actually using it.
Refund
If you regret your purchase, you will receive a refund for the amount you paid. If the item has decreased in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, or function, the corresponding amount will be deducted from the refund.
When using the right of withdrawal, all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs incurred by selecting a more expensive delivery option than our standard method), will be refunded without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days after the item has been registered at our shipping center.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction unless another method has been expressly agreed upon.

Can I return the doll if it doesn't meet my expectations?
Absolutely! If you're not completely happy with your doll, simply send it back to us. We'll give a full refund minus the shipping cost. Please note, this guarantee is effective for 30 days after receipt.
How much do I need to pay for shipping?
We offer free worldwide shipping.
What is the typical delivery time?
We strive to get your order delivered as swiftly as possible. Generally, our delivery time falls between 3-7 days in US and 6-10 days for international orders.
What is the lifespan of a Dojo Doll with regular use?
With proper care and maintenance, your Dojo Doll can have an extensive lifespan. Although there's technically no specific limit, we estimate that the doll should last between 5 to 15 years under regular use.
What are the dolls made of?
Our dolls feature a surface crafted from high-quality cotton.
What are the doll's dimensions?
Our original doll stands at a height of 77 cm / 2 feet 6 inches and our big doll is 160 cm / 5 feet 3 inches. The dimensions are crafted to closely resemble human proportions.
What type of filler is recommended, and how much should I use?
We recommend using polyester fiberfill because it is affordable and provides excellent results. The amount you use depends on the desired firmness of your doll. For the small doll, we suggest using 1.8-2 kg, while for the large doll, 2.3-2.7 kg is ideal.
Can I use other types of filler materials?
While polyester fiberfill is our recommended choice for the best balance of firmness and cost-effectiveness, you can experiment with other fillers, such as shredded foam or microbeads, to achieve different feels. However, keep in mind that these may impact the doll's weight and flexibility.
Do you only offer a female version of the doll?
Due to popular demand, we’re excited to announce that a male doll and a plus-size female doll are in the works! We’re aiming to launch them at the beginning of March.
What happens if the doll gets damaged?
Our shibari dolls are robustly constructed specifically for Shibari practice. The dolls come with a 6-month warranty covering defects in materials and craftsmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or overstuffing.
Do I need to pay import or VAT for the doll?
We ship from U.S. Taxes included for U.S. orders only. International customers may be subject to import taxes. Please check import and VAT rules for your country.
How do I clean and maintain my Shibari practice doll?
Our Dojo Dolls can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle at 20 degrees, but we recommend emptying the filler before washing. For minor stains, simply use a damp cloth. To preserve the doll’s quality and ensure longevity, dry it on the lowest heat setting in a dryer.
How should I store my Shibari practice doll when not in use?
To maintain the shape and quality of your doll, store it in a dry, cool area away from direct sunlight. You can keep it in a storage bag or a soft cloth cover to protect it from dust and dirt.
