Terms and Conditions at Dojo Dolls

Prices At Dojo Dolls, all prices are in euro and are stated inclusive of VAT and taxes. We reserve the right to change the prices day-to-day without prior consent. Sold-out items are subject to reservation.
Payment
Dojo Dolls accepts payment with VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, PayPal, MobilePay, and bank transfer. The payment will not be deducted from your account until the item is dispatched. All amounts are in EURO, and incl. VAT.
Price errors and sold out/discontinued items are subject to reservation.
Delivery
Dojo Dolls strives to dispatch orders made before 5 pm the same day; orders placed after this will be dispatched the following weekday. We ship internationally. Shipping costs start from 5 euro. Items will be delivered to the delivery address specified at the time of ordering. Your items are sent with DHL. NOTE: If there is no room at the pick-up point, the package will be moved to the nearest pick-up point, about which you will be notified. If problems arise, please contact customer service. Items are delivered all weekdays. Your item will be delivered 5-10 business days after the order. Special delivery conditions apply to certain items. These conditions will be stated specifically before the purchase of these items.
Complaints
A 2-year complaint period is granted in accordance with the Purchase Act. Our complaint rights apply to defects in material and/or fabrication. You can have the item repaired, replaced, get a refund or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation. The complaint does not apply to errors or damage committed by improper handling of the product/service. You must complain in "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect/error. Dojo Dolls will cover the return costs to a reasonable extent.

Refund
If a refund is agreed upon, please provide your bank details in the form of account number. and sort code, so the agreed amount can be transferred. These details can be safely given via email or other electronic means, as they are not sensitive information and will only be used for the refund.
Right of cancellation
A full 30-day return policy is granted on items purchased in our webshop. The period is counted from the day;
- Where you receive the order.
- When you receive the last item in physical possession when it comes to an agreement of several different items, ordered in one order but delivered individually or in several rounds.
- When you receive the last batch or last part in physical possession when it comes to an agreement of the delivery of goods consisting of several batches/parts.
- The first good in physical possession when it comes to the regular delivery of goods over a certain period. You will have to cover the return costs yourself. The cancellation must be notified to us no later than 30 days after the purchase, and from the cancellation, you must return the shipment within 30 days. The notice must be given by email at holmdamgaard123@gmail.com. In the notification, you must make it clear that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. If you wish to return the item to us, please fill in the enclosed Returns Form and send the item to: Dojo Dolls, Bogtrykkervej 29, 2400 Copenhagen.
You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the item without giving clear notice at the same time. Goods exempt from the right of cancellation
The following types of goods are not included in the right of cancellation:
- Goods manufactured to the consumer's specifications or have a clear personal touch.
- Goods where the seal has been broken.
- Performed non-financial services if the delivery of the service has begun with the consumer's prior explicit consent and acknowledgment that he will lose his right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
- Agreements entered into at a public auction.
- You must bear the direct costs in connection with the return. When returning, you are responsible for the item being packed properly. You must attach a copy of the order confirmation. The procedure will be quicker if you also fill in and attach our Withdrawal Form. You bear the risk of the item from the time of the item's delivery until we have received it back.
We do not accept packages sent on COD.
Condition of the Product When Returned
You are only liable for any potential decrease in the value of the product due to handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, properties, and function of the product. In other words, you may test the item as if you tested it in a physical store.
If the item has been tested beyond the above description, it is considered used. Which means that if you regret the purchase, you only get part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item at the time of receipt - of the return. To receive the full purchase amount back, you must therefore test the item without actually using it.
Refund
If you regret your purchase, you will, of course, receive the amount you have paid to us. In the event of a decrease in value, for which you are liable, this is deducted from the purchase amount. When using the right of withdrawal, all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs as a result of your choice of a different form of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), will be refunded without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days from the date we have received notice of your decision to exercise the right of withdrawal. Refunds are made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed to something else. We can withhold the refund until we have received the item back, unless you have provided documentation to have returned it before that.

Can I return the doll if it doesn't meet my expectations?
Absolutely! If you're not completely happy with your doll, simply send it back to us. We'll give a full refund minus the shipping cost. Please note, this guarantee is effective for 30 days after receipt.
What happens if the doll gets damaged?
Our dolls are robustly constructed specifically for Shibari practice. So far, we haven't received any reports of a broken doll. However, if it does break while being used for Shibari, please send us a picture. We'll then either send you a new doll or refund your money. This guarantee lasts for 3 years.
How much do I need to pay for shipping?
We offer free worldwide shipping.
What is the typical delivery time?
We strive to get your order delivered as swiftly as possible. Generally, our delivery time falls between 3-7 days in US and 6-10 days for international orders.
What is the lifespan of a Dojo Doll with regular use?
With proper care and maintenance, your Dojo Doll can have an extensive lifespan. Although there's technically no specific limit, we estimate that the doll should last between 5 to 15 years under regular use.
What are the dolls made of?
Our dolls feature a surface crafted from high-quality cotton.
What are the doll's dimensions?
Our original doll stands at a height of 77 cm / 2 feet 6 inches and our big doll is 160 cm / 5 feet 3 inches. The dimensions are crafted to closely resemble human proportions.
What type of filler is recommended, and how much should I use?
We recommend using polyester fiberfill because it is affordable and provides excellent results. The amount you use depends on the desired firmness of your doll. For the small doll, we suggest using 1.8-2 kg, while for the large doll, 2.3-2.7 kg is ideal.
Can I use other types of filler materials?
While polyester fiberfill is our recommended choice for the best balance of firmness and cost-effectiveness, you can experiment with other fillers, such as shredded foam or microbeads, to achieve different feels. However, keep in mind that these may impact the doll's weight and flexibility.
Do you only offer a female version of the doll?
Due to popular demand, we’re excited to announce that a male doll and a plus-size female doll are in the works! We’re aiming to launch them at the beginning of February.
How do I clean and maintain my Shibari practice doll?
Our Dojo Dolls can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle at 20 degrees, but we recommend emptying the filler before washing. For minor stains, simply use a damp cloth. To preserve the doll’s quality and ensure longevity, dry it on the lowest heat setting in a dryer.
How should I store my Shibari practice doll when not in use?
To maintain the shape and quality of your doll, store it in a dry, cool area away from direct sunlight. You can keep it in a storage bag or a soft cloth cover to protect it from dust and dirt.
